came home and ive had a question banned, the one from like over a week ago asking where puddicat was, how she hadnt been back, someone banned it and it was completely unoffensive etc etc etc

At the risk of repeating myself as I have said this on other posts - if you look at the top banner it says "The Answer Bank post questions and answers, and discuss topics of interest." If people are interested in each others welfare and wish to discuss that, I don't see where that is against the ethos of the site.

If you don't like it or are not interested then why come onto a post to say that, just leave it alone and post stuff that does interest you.

Because there is a cetain individual who keeps having a moan in posts saying that theye are not questions, but I just think that as long as they are not offensive, and people are interested then that seems to fit the criteria.

I agree with annie. Also - glad you're back, puddicat - we had a cyber party for you! Weeal - don't take it personally, I got really slated on here because I enquired about someone's wellbeing as well, but I'm thick-skinned & can take it! (Doc - no sarcastic answers please!).
What I don't understand is the criticism that some people get, for posting a perfectly reasonable, sympathetic post (not from the Ed., but from other AB users - a couple spring quickly to mind!), whilst others seem to get away with posting insulting, profane and downright nasty ones!

Ive got a wonderful idea for all you chummies, why don't you sign on to a chat forum, or maybe one of you could start up your own website and call it 'The Chatty ex-Ab'ers Chat Forum'.
Seriously though people Im sure you're all very nice folk and I personally think Ab is a good website and I enjoy having somewhere to ask questions about different things and I also enjoy it when various questions may turn into interesting debates, but its so irritating when someone appears out of the blue saying "Oh hello Toffnob are you feeling better today" and Toffnob says "oh thanks very much for asking Bloozy, Im feeling better but whats happened to Snowdrop? she hasn't been on lately" etc etc etc and for those of us who havent got a clue who any of the cliquey people are, its oh so muckin boring.
