I've asked this in music, no answers yet so what do the Body + Soul stalwarts think, is this good or bad news?

Yes I love S Club! As a singing teacher they were my staple for years when teaching 6 year olds! My current 6 year olds have never heard of S Club! There are no PAP pop bands in the charts at the moment writing those cheesy feel-good pop songs suitable for young kids and everyone who loves pop cheese.
Whether or not you like them, Cathy Dennis writes really well-crafted songs with great chords and harmonies. They may be too basic for most people's listening taste now, but they are still great tunes! Good luck to them.
