A Farmer weighs 98 lbs. He has 3 Melons each weighing 1lb. He is crossing a river whic has a load bearing capacity of 100 lbs.

How can he take himelf and his melons across simultaneously, without falling into the river?

Remeber, he must be transporting the Melons. No rolling, throwing etc.

Blue, old buddy, old pal, see what you have instigated? A bunch of melon heads, including myself, running amok through the melon fields and attempting to squash you!
I meant to say 'a bunch of pumpkin heads', but it's too late now.
Don't Melons float? Couldn't he just row over "towing" them behind or pushing in front? HJS (_8o(])

Stewey, stewed melon, stewed pumpkin. It's becoming a right old pickle innit?

Eating, sh1tting, floating, throwing, streaking, defying the laws of gravity.....whoever thought taking the melons to market would be so much trouble.

Perhaps he shoud've sold them on Ebay
Eating one wouldn't help as the farmer would then weigh 101lbs.
