transfering my kids names to my mortgage

Thanks for the prompt reply to my question sorry I wasn't more clear, the mortgage will have been paid in full so there wont accually be a mortgage I just need a rough idea of the cost of transfering names thanks

sorry, i dont understand - why would you put their names on a non existant mortgage? how can you put their names on a mortgage if there isnt one. Am i being thick here?

hmm just had a thought - do you mean you want to put their names on the deeds/? i.e. give them the house effectively? If so, thats nothing to do with the mortgage

This may be a case similar to one I had, did you originally have a joint mortgage with another person that would make you a joint tenant, if so come right back and I will give more info
