Your hand.

If not, try a coathanger {the metal ones}. open it up.

Failing that, hot water as pointed out by invisible
Be very careful with hot water, I did it once and it cracked the toilet and I had to replace it.
hi oldgrape. Sounds like your son is as 'naughty' as my little one lol

did you know that in times gone past they used to send little boys up chimneys to clean them........................................................................
that may give you and idea :)

itd certainly stop him doing it again lol

hi all tried the coat hanger didn't work so i got a large syringe type thing and sucked the water out of the pan then i got my neighbour to pull it out (i'm not sticking my hand down there lol) my son is only 1 and is a little terror i think i might buy a toilet lock 2morw
Thanks all for your help
you got your neighbour to stick his hand down your bog?? If i was your neighbour I would have told you to ferk off
My eldest pulled half the toilet lock off the loo within hours of me putting it on and - it just made it all the more interesting to play with, I'm sure. Along the same lines as pulling off the sticky protective corner I put on the hearth, putting it in his mouth and gagging on it. That particular safety measure lasted about ten minutes!! After that, I decided to let him just take his chances!
I love it when folk sterilise stuff . and when they leave the room, their kid is sucking the buggy wheels ... lol.
