I'm an OAP and loving my PC. theres something that puzzles me... friends sometimes send me Jokes & pictures via email, If I forward these to other friends they recieve the text part but there is no picture just a small red cross in a frame. What am I doing wrong? or how can I rectify this?
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

If they are using OE...then in Tools/Options under the Security tab they most probably have the Block Images box ticked.

I dont think this is anything to do with what you have done, I think it may be something to do with other peoples internet security.

Ask one of your friends if there is a line appearing in their email ( just above the senders name) which states something like 'Outlook prevented automatic download of pictures'.If they have this, they need to click on the line and a box will appear with several options which will allow the pictures to be viewed.

I noticed that I too have the 'Blocked Images' box ticked, I've now rectified that. I'm having to wait now to see if the problem is solved............
