that just cos you get older . there are things that you just cant do. beacuse folk will look at you like youre some kind of freak or lunatic. remember when you could just go buy a carry out ( drink that is ) and go sit in the park and kick back with your amtes? not causing any trouble just chilling out ?
do you miss that ? or something similar you used to like doing?
afternoon you been at the booze already lol
or is it hair of the dog
i sat in the park about a month ago with a carry out , it
ended with me walking away cos the other person was
hammered and i couldn't be bothered listening lol
I suppose I miss the girly thing - getting ready for a night out listening to good music and having a wee drinky beforehand, now everyone just makes their own way there (not a regular occurrence these days).
caz, well at least you got a certificate for it at last lol
yeah most of my mates are grandmothers now (eek at 42) or they dont go out much if their kids are younger, I didnt have kids so am a bit lost, AND I keep moving house so start from scratch again
don't remind me about moving home lol
i live at my dads house just now and he is moving his partner in here and i am going to stay there next month, have started packing already though didn't realise had so much clutter lol
moving house is such a job, doesnt take long to accumulate clutter, i used to have loads of hobbies and have tonnes of stuff which i no longer use, its a nightmare
to be honest i have thrown out loads of junk
and i don't want to stay here and feel like pig in the
middle
hence why i am going to stay at her house.the only big
stuff i am taking is bedroom furniture so not too bad
Good advice from saxy_jag. Why let age stop you? In fact as you get older you should think "stuff that - I'll do it if I want" - who gives a **** if people look at you?
As long as you are not hurting anyone else then go for it
It's true. I took my nephew (who's 7) to the swing park, no one else about so i decided to have a go on the swings with him (i'm 31) he looked at me as if i was daft and said ' oh and at your age' to which i promptly jumped off and stood at the side watching.
