Any record of the caution will show the basic details of the offence. e.g. " Cautioned upon admission of an offence contrary to Section 1of the Theft Act 1968". It's unlikely to show full details of the offence (e.g. "Stole magazine from W H Smith, Scunthorpe") but, if the employer is able to get an enhanced CRB check, the police can include as much detail as they deem relevant.

As far as I'm aware, it's only certain employers that can do CRB checks - such as councils, Police Authorities, Education Councils etc. and they would do an enhanced check. If your employer isn't registered to carry out CRB checks then the only way they can see your record is if you apply for it and show them.
