My last cat had to get teeth out and it was amazing how much happier he was after the operation.

He was a little woozy after the operation but by the end of the night was back to his annoying self.

Best wishes to both of you.
My ex-housemate's cat Trumpton, had to have a couple of teeth out, and he is now less grumpy with considerably nicer breath.
Everything is relative, Pasta. Last night, our cat Raffles - a fine old gentleman of 22 - died in my arms and today we have to arrange for his cremation.
Still, I wish your pet the very best for a successful operation and a speedy recovery, plus a calm approach to it all for yourself just for his/her sake.

Oh quizmaster-my thoughts are with you-I know too well how you must be feeling-your beloved must have had a lovely life with you x
Hello pastafreak , good luck with little moggy today , hope all goes well :-) xx
Quizmaster , sorry to hear of your precious Raffles passing . He would be at peace being in your arms where he felt the love and safety. xx
Hi pastastreak - I know it's a worry for you, but your little moggy will be fast asleep & won't know anything about it. It'll probably be a bit groggy & uncomfortable afterwards, but bet it'll be fine in a few days. -x-

Hi Quizmonster - I'm so sorry to hear about your Raffles. It's a long time to have a cat & I know how we felt after having our Smudge put down after 13 years. Thinking of you. -x-
Hi pastafreak...One of my three oldies had to have three teeth removed, he was fine but did decide to ignore me for two days and give me dead eye!. Your kitty will be fine. Quizmonster what a terrible time for you,Its awful when these things happen only one thing I can say is at least he was with you and had a loved one by his side. Some sad days ahead for you.But we manage to get through it and time will ease your pain.Bless g

Aaarrggghh!!! just foned vet-she's not been done yet! have to call back at 5-she will be truly drunk when I get her back. To work now for a few hours-will be back on here later.....thank you all for your reassuring words xxx
Thank you all so much for your words of kindness. When I came downstairs this morning and wasn't greeted as usual, my first thought was "What an empty house!" It will take some getting used to, I'm afraid, after so long.

Goodness me, Smudge, it seems like years since I last saw your name here on AnswerBank! It's good to know you're still about.

I see from your more recent posting, Pasta, that there may still be complications for your pet. I do hope they turn out to be harmless.

Regards to you all.
