Wireless connection?

I have a bt voyager router on which I used to connect via an ethernet cable to my pc. Now I have a wireless able laptop. Can I pick up broadband with it or do I need to upgrade the router?

You don�t say what model Voyager router you have but most likely you�ll need a different router. It usually says that it�s a wireless router on it. Another way to check is if your laptop is detecting it.

Thanks, It's a Voyager 210 ADSL router. The laptop can detect a home hub but my suspision is that it belongs to next door. Can I use that one:) ?
That one is definately wired not wireless, so yes you need a new router to go wireless. Nothing to stop you using next door's if they are too stupid to protect it, but you'll be unprotected too and are not in control of the source (they might turn ot off!).
