BBC 6 Music listeners have voted Ebony and Ivory as the worst duet ever. Other contenders included; You're The One That I Want by Arthur Mullard and Hilary Baker, Dancing in the Street by Mick Jagger and David Bowie, Little Drummer Boy by Bing Crosbie and David Bowie and Save Your Love by Rene and Renata. Did Macca and Stevie deserve to win? Or is there another duet that is worse?

Dancing in the Streets was recorded and videod in under two days from scratch and its sole purpose was to raise money for thrid world relief. A job well done.

If you further to slate Mssr. Bowie may I suggest you get both the title right (Little Drummer Boy Peace on Earth) and indeed the performer with Bing CrosbY.

This was the last ever performance of Bing and the song is excellent. Bing was the elder Republican conservative American musical statesman and Bowie was just coming out of his odd phase. A genius move by the record maker, of which was rewarded with a huge world wide hit.

The worse duet Bowie has probably done, which is incidentally still a sublime song, is "Tonight" with Tina Turner.

The worse duet from anybody is surely Hoddle and Waddle singing Diamond Lights.
I like that one Gromit!
I have to say that along with Wardy I reckon the Bowie/Jagger effort was marvellous..not only given the short time involved and the charitable implications, but a fine coupling.

Although quite dire, the McCartney/Wonder duet isn't that bad when compared to Hoddle & Waddle. I would like to put in a vote for Robbie Williams & Nicole Kidman doing 'Something Stupid'.

It was.
