it depends what type you have - if you have sculptured acrylic from a good salon they'll last 2-4 weeks

i have gel nails and mine are ok. i have just changed nail technicians because whenever the last girl did it - within a couple of days they were starting to flake off at the edges. i thought was just how they were meant to be... but this new girl who does them is fantastic. she did mine last week and they still look amazing. i think its maybe time to try someone new...

sounds like the lady coming to your house is not very good - I would say look for a good salon in your area - i go every 4 weeks as a little treat and they last no problem but then I have acrylic not gel

def not a very good nail person - this should not be happeneing. I would suggest phoning her - asking her to remove them and asking for a refund then go to a proper salon to have them done!!!

gels are softer...not so good if you have a job whereby its rough on your nails...inform your nail lady...get a refund...give her a chance..she might think that you only wanted gel nails....dont have gels too long either...
