since tuesday night i've had a continual pain in my stomach.
its stopped me from eating properly, because after i have eaten it causes me to feel ill and the pain gets worse.
its in the centre of my stomach and no matter how i position myself it is there.

does anybody know what it is?
or why when i eat it is stronger than before?

Question Author
no nothing like that.
i ate toast yesterday, and after a few bites i felt really sick.
i haven't been sick (as yet) and have tried just drinking water.
Yeah, megan beat me too it, I was trying to see whether the symptoms were the same as an ulcer.
See your G.P
it wont be period related if its the centre of your stomach

could it be gas in your tummy? maybe if you take some boiled lemonade it will release any wind - not joking it does make you burp
if you still have the pain tomorrow though you should go to your GP
You haven't been taking a lot of paracetamol based pain killers have you? I had really bad toothache a couple of years ago and overdid the paracetamol,I ended up in A&E as I had overdosed accidentally and had really bad stomach pains that worsened when I ate anything. I was in for two days on a drip.
Hello Nat , does the pain stay central and have you any towards your right lower tummy? Either way I suggest if it continues you should get a doctor to check you over :-)
Could I also ask if you have been to the toilet normally ?
All the best x
also asprin based pain killers can do the same to some people

weeal:
its more in the centre-left than the right.
it hurts more if i push slightly on it
(obviously, i'm not doing that now, but i just wanted to check if it did hurt more)

i would go to the Dr's but i can't miss anymore college.

See your G.P
college can wait, your health is more important
Thanks Nat13, you've made me sound like my dad now!!!

4GS
sorry!

Hi Nat, i agree with 4GS, look-after your self, take care sweetheart, and let us know how you come on, love megan. xx
Hi,

I agree you should see a doc but just a suggestion.....

If you push on it and it hurts more as you release the pressure it might be your appendix? if that is the case u should be seen straight away.

maybe call the NHS Direct, they log the call and a nurse/doctor calls you back within an hour, they are pretty good.

Good luck x
I had similar pains a few weeks back they were so bad i was in tears, mine were in the centre too and it turned out i had a urine infection so def go see your GP just incase.
Question Author
i went to the dr's today
and i had to do a urine sample, they put me on antibiotics for a water infection.
but if i'm still in pain by monday, they suspect an ectopic pregnancy.
