So I would still need a normal kettle for gravy making, hot chocolate and tea - which tastes awful if made with hot, not boiling, water.
If you live on your own and don't need boiling water it seems excellent. However, I have a normal quick boil kettle and it doesn't take long to boil one cup of water.
