Actually I lied about being happy. On the drive back my son called to say a friend of ours did not come through a fairly minor operation. Shocking news. Only 55. She was mother to my sons best friend who died 5 years ago from cancer. He was just 20.

My shocked hubby nearly had to pull over for a while as her husband and he are great friends too. He will be devastated and lost without her.
