Although the word "originative" is 'technically' an adjective so shouldn't be used as a stand alone word, apparently it is now 'acceptable' (Grr ... modern times - or American influence!) to use "originative" in the manner you require.
I personally wouldn't use it - but as many other people do use it that way, then you may wish to go with it if you run out of options!
(The definition is -'having or characterised by the power of originating; creative' and it is defined as synonymous with visionary, genius etc).
