Is there a way of seeing all the questions asked today or do you have to go into each and every topic? Also is there a way to turn off receiving emails each time a question is answered?

Theres a box you can click on the top right says if you've got an answer.

Yes as styley says.
When you open your question, there is a red box which says "Got an Answer" If you feel your question has been answered fully and do not wish for further responses, please "Click Here" (In Blue)

in answer to your first question , NO i think you have to go into every catagory to see whats been asked today in each section
