You might want to try http://www.london-eating.co.uk/ which has reviews and average prices of meals. If you want a specific cuisine, let me know and I can maybe recommend... (Hope you can read this easily without line breaks - yes, back at work I'm afraid) ***** MILDREDS - fantastic veggie restaurant near Soho (Greek Street) ***** THE STOCKPOT - home cooked food in Soho (Compton Street) ***** POLLOS - v.cheap & cheerful pasta - (Compton Street) ***** WAGAMAMAS - my favourite! Japanese noodle bar with HUGE portions (Lexington Street)
If you like french you could try Cafe Boheme in Soho, http://www. cafeboheme.co.uk/index.php I have eaten in the bar area which is next to the cafe, which was very nice, it did get very lively later on so yoiu might want to check if this is the case with restaurent.
