No sound from digibox

Have set up my digibox as instruction manual and although I get a crystal clear picture I have no sound at all (and no, i HAVEN'T pressed the mute button!) Is this likely to be a problem with the actual box or problem with scart leads? I have tried a couple of different scrat leads but no luck. Thanks x

Check that the scart socket is in securely, as if it is part way out you may get vision but no sound

Go into the audio options of the box through the menu and change things about. You might need to save each time then go back and check.

It may sound silly but try putting the scart lead in the other way round. Some cheaper scart leads are not fully wired and need to be connected the correct way. ( very rare these days but you never know ) I don't mean turning the plug. I mean put the plug that was in the tv into the digibox and vice versa and also make sure the sound settings on the digibox are correct .
