Edward II of England (not Britain) was murdered probably on the orders of his wife. WVNBIVDB
Edward II's wife was Isabella the She wolf of France. He didnt like girls much, and golly she got pretty wild when she found out. Mind you they had a son Edward III. He certainly thought his mother had something to do with it. The real bad guy was Isabella's lover, Roger Mortimer.
