I need to send some parcels to Australia, Which is the most cost effective courier service. There is no hurry i.e. no need for next day or premium services

Probably surface mail then.

But it depends on what you mean by a 'parcel' - in mail terms it does have a technical meaning, not just 'something a bit bigger than a letter'

The parcels will be boxes weighing about 10 kilos, about 30 x 30 x 50 cm

At that weight it would be Parcelforce Worldwide - surface is �86.85 and airmail �100.90 for 10kg.

I tried a random courier on the internet http://www.interparcel.com and it came out between the two prices for their slowest service (by air) - but it could vary for different parts of Australia
