My wife is dieting and has lost 50 pounds so far. She has been given a cheesecake recipe and one of the ingredients is quark. Can any chefs out there tell me what it is, and what substitute can I use.

Qaurk is a type of soft cheese.
No idea what substitute you could use though.
Hi Bullpen Quark is a low fat soft cheese, so it's ok for anyone dieting, no need to substitute anything else. More info here:- http://www.cheese.com/Description.asp?Name=Quark
You can buy it at Asda , Sainsburys and Tescos in the cheese section .
