now a lot of women got preggers during the 2nd world war.
but we are led to believe they were all very innocent and virginal then.
so was it a case of worrying about dying during the war that encouraged our grannnies to drop their drawers so readily and easily ?
or were they really old slappers and were glad of an ecuse for some bonking whilst their hubbys were away at war ?
there were a lot of goings on

was it fear or just plain old lust ??

My great Aunt got pregnant by a soldier who was billeted over here. He promised to stay on and marry her, but of course never did. He never saw his son, which's a pity, because if he could've seen what's happened to the son since then, he'd be green with envy!
The US Army made many attempts to prevent that sort of thing happening and the GIs were encouraged to behave in a decent way, there have been many associations set up to reunite children of the GI Bride era.

My father in law told many a story about what the boys got up to in the war. My father in law remembered being in North Africa and the queue for the local house of ill repute was longer than the pay line. Of course, all they had to worry about was a dose of the clap. But then that was relatively easy to clear up and those at home none the wiser.

umm going back to my friend ? she does look a little different , and her dad was sweet but a bit oblivious, or turned a blind eye , maybe she had some stick , i dont know but she seems to have a big chip on her shoulder,i am trying my best but will have to give up ,or i will land up with more of a problem
