ziggy I wanted to do this for myself....didn't know much about dads side...but found out loads of stuff....I am so proud of both sides......not found out anything bad..they where all hard workers, came from decent families.....I want to go and visit grandads hometown....St Bees (mums father)

4. Yes every year for many years (because I am old).

I personally can't stand them but always made them for others in my family until my children grew up and told me they didn't really like mince pies!! Still, the tradition of making a special one for Santa was rather nice!
