Legend - you can say you don't like Rhydian's appearance or that you can't see him as a success in the pop world but to describe his beautiful voice the way you did can only mean one thing - you must be TONE DEAF!
Isn't it about time one of the Daily Mail readers came on to complain about it being the fault of our Scot-biased Government? ;-)
I actually watched the final (well, some of it before I got bored) for the first time, such was the paucity of options, and couldn't believe this Leon chap had made it to the final. Not a bad voice, but absolutely nothing special. His victory is another triumph for blandness. Still, I suppose if you're going to have the show presented by Dermot "The New Michael Aspel" O'Leary, you're always likely to attract the bland vote. I'd have put Leon even below Same Difference in the rankings - at least they were cheesy enough to be a p***take.
As has been always painfully obvious about cr*p like X-factor, Pop Idol, Britain's got Talent and Strictly come dancing; the British public knows absolutely sweet f.a. about music or dancing and should be banned from voting on such programs.
Progs like that should be left to judges who are paid a lot of money to do this kind of thing everyday. That would put paid to the pointless, childish booing that goes on whenever a judge says somethig we don't like.
rhydian should of won, same difference should off been voted of first round, and nikki and rhydian should of been in the final, but then again rhydian nikki and same difference will get a record contract anyway
Im a Daily Express reader & I blame the Scottish Parliament, the Welsh Parliament & also of course, all the Scottish members in the English Parliament!!!!!!!!!!!!
I totally agree with maggs1703, I didn't like Rhydian from the start, he has a good voice, but looks just so manufactured and horrible. I haven't really watched X-factor this year, as I didn't think much of any of the acts. As Maggs said, we've been spoilt with Ben, Journey South, Shane Ward and Andy Abrahams!
