does any1 else get annoyed when older ppl speak down their noses at them aying where theyve been and what theyve done and all that and just presume that you havent been anywhere bar a club in ibiza or summin? its hard not to tell them what for sometimes.

you should always be prepared to respect old people but a lot of them think the respect should be unconditional.

a lot have earned respect because of wisdom gained, usually these wise ones respect others in return.

if an old person is rude to you, just tell what to do, the same as you would anyone else (this can be a lot of fun if they're not used to it)

Are you referring to you parents or guardian by chance? If so, they have all right to ask such questions. It takes noting to show respect, it should come naturally.

But guys - respect can only be given if it's learnt. I'm always reminding my children to be respectful, so hopefully they'll grow into respectful adults - but hey - I've decided to be a crochety old girl by the time i draw my pension. More fun!!

lol ta. in matter of fact no im not tlkin bawt my parents who i am proud to say in this current times have never shouted at them, swore at them or hit them (which a lot of ppl i no do do!!) i am tlklin about a bloke who lives near me and my bf, goin on bawt youngsters these days havent got a clue ewat the wide world is like ad theyre only interested in getting drunk etc etc, wheras he's travele and seen things. lol without sounding pompous, ive ridden in he sahara desert on camels, ive been down a volcano, ive visited the colisium (dno how to spell it thougfh!!) that was in gladiator andyes been tyo ibiza lol also been down salt mines in poland (absolutely beautiful if u get the chance to go!!) yet to me they are precious moments only to be shared with people who wont take it as me being up myself yet when confronted with ppl who assume you know nothing and have no respect at all i feel quite offended yet to me, holding my tongue and just nodding is respectful but they cnt see that lol
