Is it just me or does using clearasil in that advert seem pointless? i mean, after spending three days agonising over whether her spots are going to be gone in time for her big entrance the poor girl has a mask shoved over her head so you can't see her face anyway! and besides when you work on stage you have enough make up plastered on your face to be able to tell. Just kinda seemed a bit pointless to me, but nevermind.
My thoughts exactly, i saw the advert last night and wondered if it was actually a good advert - maybe it doesn't really work and clearasil are saying "if all else fails - just hide your face!"
Yeah I think its kinda weird too, but I think the point about the ad is that this is the girl's big break so she wants everything to be perfect. No matter how small and insignificant it may seem? Plus she is a teenager- everything is a crisis to them!
i'm a teenager and i want to act and if my big break involved having a mask shoved over my face so you couldn't see my face, i would concentrate on my part more than my face. but, ce la vie *sigh*
