Hi, Can anyone help with this quiz question? The question is:
What is the numerical value of the triangle?
HEXAGON...........SQUARE --------------.....+.....------------.....=......14 .......3...........................4 . . HEXAGON......-.....SQUARE....=....TRIANGLE . . TRIANGLE ---------------.....=....STAR .......4. . Basically the equation is three lines, showing actual shapes rather than words.
Top line = Hexagon over 3, + Square over 4, = 14. Middle line = Hexagon minus Square = Triangle Bottom Line = Triangle over 4 = Star
No, that's exactly how it appears, using actual shapes. I did wonder if the shapes were relevant, i.e. hexagon = 6, square = 4, star = 5, triangle = 3. but that doesn't seem to make sense either.
