Apparently it is going to snow on Thurs, I cycle to work and have never cycled in snow. Do people cycle in snow in London and is it that much more dangerous to do that?

Well I live in London and I have never seen anyone cycling in the snow!!
Wouldn't it be hard work, pushing against the snow??
Mind you when it snows here in London, it has all melted by lunchtime.

Obviouisly your braking distance will be greatly increased so it will indeed be more dangerous.Though it is patently obvious.
I reckon it would be harder trying to ride a bike along a beach! never tried either !
Depends on if its a sandy beach or pebbles jules?Alos if its sofdt or firm sand? There are many variables you cant just guess randomly you know.
I cycle in the snow in London, very rare though it is. Not on the roads but on footpaths where I know that the undersurface is not smooth. If the going gets tough I get off and push the bike which is still preferable to and often quicker than sitting in a traffic jam.

My common sense, lemme check......I suppose the snow is no problem, the ice is so ill check the temp in the morning.
If it's been wet and the temp is <0 then it will be far more risky.
well leggie, i reckon sandy would be the hardest but pebbles would give you big time bum ache!
wet sand, easy, the drier, the tougher the ride ;-)
I think you will find it hard going ...why don't you use your pogo stick instead ........
