What colour are hazel eyes....

Ive just been chatting to my friend and she says that I don't have hazel eyes, you have weird eyes. She says that hazel eyes are a greeny/brown, as in a block colour not the mismatch of green and light brown that mine are. Doesn't seem to be definitive answers on line either. Wiki seems to say both.

to me hazel is green/brown, a dark browny green, other than that im not sure how to describe it Goods!

green with a couple of small light brown spots, the outer ring is blue apparently.

Ive been told mostly that they are green, when I was young I called them hazel although there were several girls with hazel eyes who had more of the block colours that you described. I dont bother defining them these days, most of the time they look red ;D
