How about the next line being

"nor cries beseech"

(Wounded crying for help )

Here are a few more...beach, beech, bleach, breach, breech, each, impeach, leach, leech, peach, preach, screech, speech. ('Quiche' is usually pronounced in French style...ie the final sound is 'sh' rather than 'ch'.)

George Bush and the Vice President dropped into a cafe for a restorative coffee, and Bush decided to have something else.  He told the waitress he wanted a quickie.  She was not impressed.

 

The Vice President leant over and said, "It's pronounced Keesh, Mr President"!
