I don't want to open another debate on this case but I am sure I heard on the news last night that the McCanns had accepted the opportunity to make a film. Was I dreaming?

the whole thing is an absolute farce. My view have still not changed on this subject....they know more than they let on

Jedimistress...... If you are going to criticise, then at least get your facts right. Clarence Mitchell never has been , nor ever will be paid out of the fund. His fee is paid by an independant business man/ benefactor. The fund is there to use. What would be the point of it, if it could not be touched. It is not a savings account. It pays for private imvestigators who are looking for Madeleine. Something the Portugese police seem to have overlooked in their haste to stitch up the McCanns. How can you say they are selfish? Of course they care about all the other missing children, but right now all they can think about is their own. What is wrong with that? They have already asked questions and lobbied for a European Agency to be set up, that would be alerted when a child goes missing. Something that should already be in place, much like they have in America. This Agency should have jurisdiction in all countries in Europe and thus be able to prevent child trafficking. They no doubt will be lobbying for sex offenders to be registered in Portugal and God knows how many European countries that do not already do it. Do not assume that they do not care about other children. How the hell do you know how they feel? I can only imagine thatt they are in absolute agony, and bitterly regret leaving the children alone. They do NOT deserve this hate campaign.
