Well - we have a guy working for us who's of Romany stock, and he's nothing like the travellers who cause mayhem and havoc. He pops in for a cup of coffee, and he's never lifted a thing from the house. He's wise, funny - and clean and polite.

Actually, I don't think it matters whether it was a joke or not, because I tend to agree with some of the answers - that there are a certain type of traveller, who pretend to be real gypsies, when in fact they're not - just troublemakers.
