My son is about to be offered a driving course to avoid penalty points etc. Has anyone done one? Are you given a date to attend or can you choose a date to fit in with commitments

My son did one. He was very cynical (It wasnt my fault, I did nothing wrong, etc etc) By the end of the course he was impressed by the intructors and how much he learned about attitude, driving style, etc.

As for dates, I'n not sure but if you genuinely cant make it I'm sure it can be changed.

Thanks - I'm sure my son will benefit from it too. Overall he's a good driver but at 22 thinks he's immortal.
