Limewire, help!

I have ver 4.14, it used to work fine. Now no matter what I search for nothing happens, nothing at all, it just sits there until the search ba goes right across and finds nothing at all. I have searched for things that must be there, things I have downloaded in the past. I uninstalled it and re downloaded and installed it again, still nothing, any ideas anyone? Or suggest an alternative, thanks

i used to use limewire but switched to btjunkie using a u torrent much better
