Canidae I think.
Bensmum is right - foxes are 'vulpine'.

Canidae is the term describing animals in the Superfamily that includes all dog-like animals.
Mmm. A bit of an ambiguous question.

While tiggerblue 10's Canidae is the proper family name, in general use such as your examples of Bovine, Feline and Porcine, the fox may be more suitably descibed as belonging to the Canids.

It is ofcourse open to interpretation and there doesn't appear to be an authorative organisation anymore that rules internationally over taxonomical classification.


The binomial name for the red fox is Vulpes vulpes
Definitely vulpine in this context (the Oxford English Dictionary gives it)
