My OAP mum is finding it hard to get cheap insurance for her car because of her age, the companys like saga and esure are more expensive than direct link and churchill, anyone got any ideas for a cheaper quote? My mum is 76.

There are plenty of insurance price comparison websites which all claim to be better than their rivals but I got a good deal (around �9 per month) by using the one which is aimed at older drivers:
