Parents rowing

My parents always rowed as in had arguments. I remember discussing with school friends at the time and they all said their parents rowed non stop. That was 30 years ago. did others feel the same. They are still married though

Growing up, I certainly heard them argue about one thing or another...as they grew older, it seemed like they'd argue more out of habit than disagreement. Whatever, apparently there was more that they agreed than disagreed with, since they're still together. But, to answer your question, I don't think it's unusual for a married couple to have their differences and the occasional row.

I'm there with you as well. My mum and dad rowed like crazy - I'm suprised I ever passed an 'o' level as I could never get any revision done for the constant rowing. My dad chucked plates and all sorts, me and the dog used to sit crying up a corner.
That was about 20 years ago now and they are still together after 42 years (although not rowing thankfully!) At least they stuck together, people these days would have chucked the toewl in long ago without trying to work at their marriage.
