Damp smell in bathroom
I have a damp smell in the bathroom and believe its coming from under the floorboards. I live in a bungalow. There is a gap between the floorboards and the earth below. It happens worst when its been raining. Could it be the water table under the house that causes this? If so how can I fix it? What products fo you reccommend?

If it's the watetable then it should never even reach the damp proof course, foundations should have considered this before the build. It could, of course, just be a smell without any poblems..

Do you think you may be suffering from rising damp. There are a number of meters for sale at a very reasonable price. Better to locate the problem yourself before calling in an expert.
