And the annoying, pathetic, whiny voice, he can't even sing. I hate that song so much I had to turn the radio off every time it came on. Completely talentless and I don't know why radio 2 played it so often. Luckily they seem to have stopped. Perhaps it was the listeners figures dropping whenever it came on.
I think the bamnd must have had connections to have the record played so much. I don't think anyone would buy it...or whatever people do these days.
While not being my favourite band of the minute I think their tunes are quite catchy and I like the 'hate is a strong word' and 'I wish it was me you chose' ones.
At least they're writing and playing their own instruments. I have more problems with those chart acts who seem to have no instruments and rely soley on their sexy (?) dancing and a lot of warbling. Rianna springs to mind. As do Madonna, Kylie and Britany.
I tend to listen to Radio 2 on the wireless. This song is always played there as well. In fact I couldn't even tell you a single disc jockey on Radio 1.
I agree Scouting for Girls are middle of the road utter sh!te.
And the Elvis Ain't dead thing is tedious and boring.
I would describe them as middle of the road and instantly forgettable but unfortunately their song sends me mad so not exactly middle of the road.
Another song beginning to grind is the chasing pavements one. The Village Green Preservation Society song was delightful and good on the first couple of plays but I can also see that one becoming a little cringeworthy.
Oh I couldn't agree more jedi, that song is really starting to jar. Actually all the Lilly Allen, Kate Nash, Amy Whitehouse... they're all really starting to merge in to one sound to me. And I didn't like the sound that much in the first place.
That Pumpkin Soup song used to get in my head and stay thre for days!
I was sick and tired of "she's so luverly, she's so luverly, she's so luverly, she's so luverleeeeeee" And then they go and release it again under a different name. Who do they think they are? Westlife?
