Dubai
Hubby has ben listening to the BBC World Service --- apparently passengers entering or in transit at Dubai have been searched and charged with drug ofences for carrying non precription drugs !!! i.e. codiene, hay fever and jet lag remediesetc that you dont have a prescription for or cannot prove they have been prescribed for you, so be warned.Apparently its the airport police doing stop & search and then jail.
Having lived in Dubai for 14 yrs in the 80s I find this laughable as in those days you could buy any type of pill without prescription i.e mogadons, prosac etc and in the 90s they got a bit stricter.
So dont take with you, buy when you get there.
