I have recently met a guy who says he cannot perform oral sex. When I asked why he said it brings him out in spots. He has tried several times and the same thing has happened and it has so traumatised him that just the thought of it fills him with fear.
How would you react to this?
Would it put you off him?

No way we could know RD. But if that is the reason and he just can't say that then it doesn't sound like his attitude to sex is fully matured.

Why not ask him straight out if it's just that he doesn't like doing it. If he admits that is the reason then you just have to decide if you mind having that aspect of your sex life cutailed. If not then with patience and a little time I'm sure you'll work something out.
