The wife has seen an MGF auto she really likes 39000 on the clock. Anyone got any advice on these cars.
I believe some problems have occurred with head gaskets and cam belt. I have test driven it and all seems OK at the moment.

hi, yes the head gasket could go at any time really a problem with gasket design. if it does go dont overheat it get it done or ul have the expence of a new head also the pipes running from rad at front and engine at rear rust out very quick and may need replacing but not that expensive a job to get done, cambelts not a problem but like all cambelts when it needs doing do it and if you dont know when it was done get it done, all that said great car to drive. hope it was of help.
