If you need a holiday then have one!, I know people that havent had a holiday for years because of work commitments, its is seriously not good for their stress levels, after everything you have done have 2 weeks off before you start the work hunt, send your cv out before you leave and you might come back to some interesting offers.
A degree is hard hard work and you need a getaway to relax and let go of the stresses, it will leave you fighting fit for the job search to begin!
I don't know how old you are taliesin but if you want to travel now's the time to maybe up sticks and do it. There are young countries looking for workers . If you are lonely here and have no ties then maybe it's just what you need . It may sound an outlandish idea but worth a mention . xxx
Hello taliesin, you can feel lonely when on your own or surrounded by hundreds of people, don't knock yourself, if you are negative you give off negative feelings, look forward, the sun will shine, please try to be more positive, you will notice a big difference, good luck and take care, Ray
Mmm i thought of just goin out there and doing it and to be honest I will have the perfect oportunity!! I am an archaeology student and there are plenty of opportunities for me to go away on digs!! Maybe I should!! I just got this ideology in my head of starting up a home again, finding a guy to travel with and adopting some kids!!
Im 30 I am!!
Tali, I agree that the way you are feeling now, you really shouldn't go into work straight away after all that studying, otherwise you will just end up in yet another rut. 12 years with not one holiday is no good for anybody. Cazz's idea about sending your CV off before you go is great, you really should consider it. Take some time out for yourslf for a change. It might even make you take a step back and consider your options on a larger scale. Best of luck.
