Clare from Eastenders

She leaves Hollyoaks as one Clare to return to Albert Square as another but acting exactly the same part!!!! Does anyone else find this irritating - it's been done, can't she go back to being sweet little Clare that left all those years ago with daft-Nigel?

Anyone agree, or am I the only one?

I agree..it's like the big cheeses at EE, saw her on Hollyoaks and thought "hey, look she's a great baddy. Lets get her in our show. And she's already been in it before, so no need to come up with a new character. Even though she's been away for 10 years, she can just turn up, be bad, recognise characters that started after she left, and everyone will be so impressed"

All soaps have essentially the same characters in them. so when one leaves, they need to replace like with like. Eastenders has just lost the young, independent, pretty blonde in Carly so they need to replace her with another young, independent, pretty blonde in Clare.

I cant be bothered to watch her on Eastenders as I was so bored of her on Hollyoaks.

Think eastenders has lost the plot now - will stick to watching Gordon Ramsay instead!!!

Well I've never watched a single episode of Hollyoaks so apart from when she was previously on Eastenders, it is all new to me.

I thought old Claire was played by the actress that played the daughter in My Family, surely this is not the same person as the new Claire?

The daughter in My Family used to play Sarah in EE she was Kathy's neice, the sister of Tony Hills I believe.
The actress that plays Claire now was in EE about 10 years ago with Nigel as her step dad
