Well only a few days 'til Bert's first birthday,
was looking through photos of him and it's amazing how much he's changed, he looks like a different dog!
Actually looks like a basset now!

He is absolutely gorgeous! My dog is 19 weeks now and has changed so much in such a short space of time! I can't believe how fast they grow! Daffi x

Hi wolf, my neices have seen Fred Basset and thought it was Bert! Bert's thankful for the cuddles and offers his to Frankie and Merlin too!

Pastafreak, they feel like velvet for a few days, until they need to be washed! They get dragged about it everything, over the ground, in his food and water! lol

Aww daffidzey, I miss having a pup that young! They grow so fast I know, hope you have lots of fun with your puppy!

I agree LoftyLottie, have always thought that most animal people are nicer than those who aren't =P lol

Lol Cettie, my sister loves him, Cesar Milan!
I don't like him all that much, I mean I know he's good at what he does but he seems kind of arrogant to me. But maybe thats just me!

Oh baby, Bert is just an absolute cutie! Many happy returns for his special day! Those ears are just fab! I didn't show Jack, he would only be jealous! Anyway, he passes on wags and woofs, and a bag of biscuits for the birthday boy!

Lofty's right: with the odd exception, animal people are really fab! Anyone with that much compassion and affection can't be bad!
Cetty-you mustn't ever let your dog think you have any feelings for it! ;) (kidding lots) I think Cesar is a bit of a prat to be honest. My friend loves him, but we have had to agree to disagree!

It was his birthday today so he got his bag of bones, a new collar and lots and lots of attention, despite what Cesar says! =P
