Seemed like a good idea at the time

How often do you agree to something cos it seems like a good idea at the time only to realise 5 minutes later you should have said 'nooooooooooooooooo' ?

Last week I agreed to do overtime at work this week. It was friday, almost clocking out time and it seemed like 'yeah tons more hours wont kill me' As I was clocking out I realised they could well do lol

Hi louisa, It would if I was on time and half but dont get that til I have done 40 hours and I only work 20 lol

They stopped paying time and a half at our work and gave us extra hols instead. They wonder why folk don't have the insentive to do overtime.

Yep pixi, with you on the work thing. I asked for more hours at work and they've given me more hours on a Sunday, I could cry now each time Sunday mornings come round :-(

I took on some extra commitments this week and it means for the next few days I will be working 12 hour days (inc. Sat & Sun). I need the money but I didn't want to be working those sorts of hours in my 50s!

Friday night Mrs 4GS and I ordered an Indian take away, while I ate all mine, she left a fair amount on her plate so we wrapped it in clingfilm and put it away in the spare 'beer fridge' and we forgot about it.
Just before I made the 4GS sprogs lunch at 12ish today, I discovered the leftovers, nuked them in the 4GS microwave and scoffed the lot.

Seemed like a good idea at the time and I've had 3 and a half hours to reflect on this, mostly on the toilet!!!!!
