Loose screws.....

My kitchen unit door knobs are little wooden ones that screw into the door but a few of them are loose. The ones that I can get at from the inside, I can tighten up but I can't tighten up the ones attached to the door of my (integrated) fridge door. Does anyone know an easy way of sorting out the loose thread without taking off the door itself ? I am probably not explaining myself too well here.... the door knobs screw into the doors of the units but in a few cases the screws have become too large for the holes and so the knobs are loose.

Many thanks for the practical answers and also for the amusement factor, figure, lol - I know exactly what you mean about the loose screws.... one can find them in the same place as missing marbles and lost plots.....

J was last seen hunting matchsticks - I'll probably find them in the *lost department* along with the missing biros, tape measures, combs, marbles and plots.....

Joking aside, I did think it might be better to actually take the fascia door off - but I do like the idea of matchsticks and glue - did you hear about the guy who made a F1 replica car out of matchsticks and glue ?
