How much is that sound of music?

how much money can i expect to get when selling an original 14" 1965 soundtrack of Sound of music? it has a thingy inside it too that explains about some of the songs and who wrote it and stuff, basically like the sleave of a cd. not played much either.

I assume you mean 12" rather than 14" - there's one on eBay at the moment on offer for �2.99, but hasn't attracted any bids yet. I daresay there are several thousand of these knocking about still, as it sold rather well in the 1960s.

Invest in 'Record collector' magazine. Its a few quid but will give you a breakdown of all vinyl values.
I've got one of them.  They're not that rare.
Back in the days when album sales weren't up to much, this was number one in the album charts for about fifteen months in total.  In 1966, the Stones' Aftermath and the Beatles' Revolver were the only other albums ot get to Number One!  If it's in good nick you'll get a few quid for it, but there are loads of them about.
