ingrown toe nail surgery

Ive just had nail surgery for my ingrown toe nail on both sides. its still very painful and still cant get shoes on. is this normal its been nearly a week since it was done. dont want to call the hosp in case i'm fussing. i've been soaking it in salt water but is there anything else i can do??

Hi,
When I had it done I wore sandles and socks (cause it was all gross looking) for a couple weeks before I could put on a closed toe shoe. And all I did was soak it, nothing else. I guess the only thing is to wait it out.
